Angry Birds Star Wars updated with Hoth levels

Rovio’s empire strikes back once again.

Less than a month after release Angry Birds fans and Star Wars diehards are getting exciting new content. Search your feelings, and your app updates, and you’ll find 20 free new levels on the icy Rebel world of Hoth. The Imperial assault on the Wampa homeworld is among the classic scenes from every nerd’s favourite franchise, so flinging birds equipped with ’70s hairdos at wobbly, pigtrooper-packed AT-ATs should be a familiar treat to get us ready for winter!

This update also brings two bonus levels and a new bird to add to your arsenal. The delightful pink bird now sports buns as Princess Leia and a wields a pull beam to topple the evil pigs’ defences.

I’d rather see the prequel trilogy get the avian makeover. Star Wars: Episode VII is said to be boring.
